Getting to Mayne Island
Mayne Island is located in the Southern Gulf Islands between the south coast mainland and Vancouver Island. Regular passenger and vehicle ferry service is available from BC Ferries Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal on the mainland and the Swartz Bay (north of Victoria) Terminal on Vancouver Island. Bennett Bay Kayaking operates from a virtual office. We have no storefront. In the peak summer months of July and August you should be able to find us at Bennett Bay Beach on most good weather days. However, the best way to connect is to contact us by telephone at 250-539-0864 or email: reservations@bennettbaykayaking.com.

Our main launch site is Bennett Bay unless we inform you otherwise. Click on the link for a Map of Mayne Island and Bennett Bay.
Bennett Bay is located on the east side of Mayne Island. Bennett Bay beach access is the first right turn off Wilkes Rd.

Our Kayaking Season
We operate from April (Easter weekend) to October (Thanksgiving weekend) each year.
Summer Schedule
July 1 - September 3
Open 7 days a week 10am - 6pm
Our business operation is weather dependant. We will close when weather(wind)conditions prevent safe kayaking.
In Summer catch us at Bennett Bay Beach on good weather days.
Spring/Fall Schedule
April - weekends beginning with the Easter weekend, mid-week by reservation only.
May/June/September - Wednesday to Sunday 10am - 6pm, Closed Monday and Tuesday.
